Bodegas Viña Elena

Region: Jumilla

Located in the northeast of Murcia, in the region of Jumilla, the original bodega was founded by Grandpa Francisco Pacheco in 1948. Francisco began by making wine in a modest homebased wine press that was later inherited by Paco Pacheco, father to the Pacheco sisters. Paco subsequently expanded the enterprise that is currently in the hands of the third and fourth generations of the Pacheco Family. This young team continue to run their wine business with the passion of their forebears, combining tradition with innovation to highlight the knowledge they have gained from their ancestors while contributing their own pioneering, contemporary knowledge about the winemaking process.

Our work is inspired by the accumulated experience of four generations in constant evolution. Our identity is nurtured by our constant vision of the future without foregoing our traditional family bodega values.

We are making wines from the Monastrell grape variety that come from select plots which boast distinct soil types, orientation and altitudes with the aim of drawing attention to the hidden elegance and purity of our native grape variety.

Our principal aim is to enhance the value of the wide range of wines available in Spain and especially in DO Jumilla, one of its oldest wine regions, paying homage to the viticulturists who tend the old vineyards with feeling and passion.
